Feel as if your are in a national forest parkland and wandering amongst the beauty of nature! This landscape scene has a magic about it and beacons your to come, walk with me down a pathway to an adventure. Perfect for any room in your home where you wish to bring a piece of Mather Nature inside with you. Its Gauguin-like influence of bad color and brushwork makes it the perfect Impressionistic style painting. Deft brushstrokes describe the forms and features of the trees and plant life. Become the proud owner of one of Concetta’s en plein air/on location masterpieces.
Concetta Antico is an Australian born, critically acclaimed artist. Working between Sydney and Los Angeles, Concetta paints original works that unite nature and science through a style of kaleidoscopic color and brushwork.
Concetta’s work has been chronicled extensively and has attracted a large audience worldwide. Her paintings have appeared in many publications and broadcast media including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, VOGUE, BBC, VOGUE and The Guardian.
Concetta is a Tetrachromatic artist. Tetrachromacy is an extremely rare condition created by a genetic mutation that creates ‘super vision’. Tetrachromats have four types of cones in their eyes (most humans have three), which allows them to perceive up to 100 million more colors than the average person. Having super color vision has enhanced Concetta’s artwork, allowing her to use color in a manner that makes her work more dynamic. At this time Concetta is the world’s only known Tetrachromatic artist, making her paintings highly collectible and rare.

“Thank you so much for such a beautiful and heartfelt message. Your passion for your work is something very special, and I feel fortunate to have three pieces of that creativity and spirit coming into my life. I will treasure not only the pieces themselves, but also the meaning and wonderful energy behind them. … I’m so glad our paths crossed, my friend, and I look forward to staying in touch.”– David A. Smith, Dallas, TX
“Your work is absolutely gorgeous. I came across it in a funny sort of way–I was looking up Tetrachromacy. I was so, so fascinated and found it absolutely incredible to learn about this–I’d never heard of it before–and I asked the internet if people could see this way, as well–and that led me straight to you and your beautiful work.I’m thrilled to be able to get the prints.
With so much gratitude” – Lisa Levy, Hamden, CT
“I first found my way to Concetta’s gallery because I had heard about her extraordinary Tetrachromatic vision and the remarkable way she experiences color. It sounded almost magical, and I simply had to see her work—and meet her—for myself. She did not disappoint. Concetta has a wonderful way of bringing intuition, creativity and possibility together…There are some people who enter your life at just the right time and leave a little magic behind. Concetta is one of those people.” – BEJ , Encinitas CA
“While you were gone I passed by the gallery and gazed over everything I could see from different spots. Thank you for all you’ve done to become the being you are. Thank you for the genuine generosity of extending your limitless pure soul to the world.
You’ve given my life millions of color too… ” – Carla Coletti, La Jolla, CA
“We are so excited for you! And I absolutely love watching you paint! We have moved into our new place and the Peacock is in a prime location. We had 15 people over the house, each of them were captivated by your painting! One person said it felt like it was glowing and that there was magic coming from it! We feel so blessed to be the owners of not 1 but 5 of your masterpieces! Your generosity, beauty, magic, and astonishing gifting flows from each stroke of your hand. Blessings.”– Dean White, Mission Veijo, California, USA, Collectors
