My Art Is My Love, My Love Is My Art…
Live with creativity in your heart, to spur you on, heal you & bring you joy.
That is the power of love. It is the power behind a love for something greater than ourselves. It is the power which art and creativity run on.
Art is a circle of heart. Loving my art is a greater love to myself, and thereby a way to offer more love others.
I have lived a life where art has been the focal point in all I have set out to do, in all I have done.
Whether the creation of an art studio where I could share my love of art and the colors of our world with others, or the manifestation of that love with oil on canvas to produce a tangible view of my love…it is from love that my art has sprung forth. My love has changed lives, it has created lives, it brought and brings life.
To be immersed in creation, to bring forth what is in the soul and birth it for the world to see is an ultimate opus. Our personal creativity is as unique as our fingerprint on this planet and is meant to be shared – that is its ultimate purpose. Art, created through love, begets love. The art and love duo we transmute comes in many forms. Children are our creations born of love, as are our homes, our families, our gardens, or our pets, there are so many others. Our work, our labor of love, it is also our personal artistic creation. At it’s highest potential, (when it does not feel like work), it becomes our mantra, and hopefully our legacy.
Our eyes can see more love, and then they share it with our minds and ultimately our hearts it manifests. When you truly see the beauty all around you, and share your vision with others in your unique ways, you create more love. So make art your love, and love your art every day in all ways. Create loving opportunities with your spirit to inspire and bring happiness with your intentions. Share loving kindness with those in need, it is in these ways that you share your art – your heart. I have recently pledged my support through my art to others at a wonderful organization called Hospitality House, in San Francisco. What miracles they perform, I am moved by their intentions. The work they do there is to offer an art haven, a place where less fortunate and the homeless can come, and with freely given art supplies and teachers they can create their own art to heal, and to sell, to support their livelihoods.
Here is a place created of love. Here is art and creativity as heart food. Please help support them too by attending my show in November in San Diego as all ticket fees will be donated to their cause.
Many think of Valentine’s day as a hallmark day, a day of flowers and chocolates, and gifts to give. I would like to inspire you this February 14 to think of love as your creation, as your joy, as your “art”. Make it the loving gift you give to yourself and thereby to others. Make your personal creativity your love, and let your love share your passions with the world.
It is truly the best gift, the one that gives forever for it can help and heal us and our beautiful planet.
Celebrate Art when you celebrate love!
With much love from my H’Art to yours,
