Some dreams take almost a lifetime, but finally do come true!
When I departed my home town of Sydney over 25 years ago I was fresh out of college. I had no idea I’d be gone so long, it was not my intention.
As a very young girl of 6, I was already painting at home at a little wooden easel. Copying The Impressionists. I dreamt about what I would be one day, of my future.
I hoped for a grand gallery of my own one day, to showcase my paintings. This was my wistful notion. My one consistent wish.
So it seems wishes can, and do come true!
I’m back and I have my gallery in my home town.
Sydney, thank you! You have welcomed me with open arms and enthusiasm. Childhood friends and family are elated and proud for me and I am excited for my next journey. After a long search I have found my perfect and final destination. Or did it find me?
Ideal as The Concetta Antico Gallery, the stately 1899 heritage listed mansion “Pendowar” on the famed Oxford Street in the Paddington arts district was once The popular Caspian Gallery, so it was made to order.
A grande dame of a building, it boasts all The Color Queen attributes from it’s stained glass doors and windows to its decorative ultra high ceiling medallions, architraves, and flamboyant decorative archways. It offers a museum quality design, its large walls are the perfect place to hang my golden framed beauty and nature inspired 100 million color Tetrachromatic masterpieces.
This month Pendowar it getting a long overdue “spa treatment” complete with fresh paint, lighting and many other upgrades – she shines!
My first exhibition will run July 11-August 7.

Australia’s Beyond Productions approached Concetta and asked if they could use footage of her using her gifts. Much fun was had!
